Collaboration is key to success.

Being a leader isn't about taking charge and

dictating followers. To me, the most effective

leaders value everyone else's ideas and opinions,

which in turn facilitates an inclusive environment.

It is important to seek out a diversity of opinions

and ideas among group members to build

strategies and solve problems. A collaborative

leader is someone who facilitates this.

I am a strong believer that through collaboration, great things will come. Everyone has different skill sets, experiences, and mindsets. Through collaboration, a group member has the potential to bring up a crucial point or idea, that plays a critical roll in achieving the common goal, which the leader may have not thought of.

 

Through my own personal experiences, I have found collaboration to be key to success. Great things come from collaboration and I try to embody this mindset in everything that I do.
